This is the purpose of the Luzón Foundation: to give a voice to these patients and to promote research with the best specialists in the world in this disease unknown to society.
Ethics is transparency and honesty, is to comply with the rules of the game and avoid the temptations of shortcuts. It is the key to trust, that good so valuable that it costs to cultivate and that is lost with such fragility. And it takes us away from corruption, the evil that destroys good trajectories for greed, arrogance or bad faith.
The challenge starts now. Transform ourselves; increase our self-knowledge; open more to the outside; anticipate trends and needs and innovate to respond. A renewed way of living and working for those who embrace the future with realistic optimism, without false expectations and daily effort.
These 20 ideas can serve as a non-exhaustive guide to take people management to another level. Hopefully many of these good purposes come true this year.
It seems obvious that we need more reputable leaders in the world. We need to explore new approaches and behavioural patterns to recover from this leadership crisis and we must remember that the changes may be surprising – and will not be easy or quick to implement.
